As a full-time student, working two jobs, one being a server, I found that the American tipping culture has become oversaturated. Hourly businesses and vendors are asking customers for an additional gratuity while maintaining a livable wage. From my experience, I found that tip-dependent workers are receiving lower tips, and I investigated why this problem is arising.
